#14-Vintage 60" Thermometer "Chew Mail Pouch"
One of the most recognizable pieces of advertising from the past, "Chew Mail Pouch" metal outdoor thermometer. 60" high and 13.75" wide. Glass remains in thermometer, but it is broken at the bottom, and what was likely mercury is gone. Lot also includes pieces of vintage wood used on the back of the thermometer to hang it on a barn under an eave. Highly collectable and in remarkably good shape for age and use.

A wonderful collection from someone with a keen eye for quality. One of the most recognizable advertising devices of the past century - "Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco" - on a 5-foot-tall thermometer. It no longer tells the temperature, but it's in remarkable condition.
