Description

This is a ceramic whiskey decanter crafted by James B. Beam Distilling Co., dated 1964. The decanter is shaped as a donkey dressed in red shorts, a black top hat with patriotic stars, and boxing gloves, adding a distinctive character. The label on the base indicates it originally contained 'Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, 120 Months Old, 4/5 Quart, 86 Proof.' Manufactured by Genuine Regal China, the maker's mark, copyright date, and text 'C. Miller 1964' are embossed on the bottom. The bottle is sealed with a federal tax stamp, though the contents appear to have been removed. Visible measurements indicate the decanter stands approximately 13 inches tall. Its condition is generally very good, with some minor wear visible on the tax stamp, and no chips or cracks noted in the ceramic body. See photos for additional details and measurements.
